In addition to their drum fi lter, organic drum fi lters sport a separate organic chamber which is designed

to decompose nutrients that remain in the water after its mechanical filtration. Floating fi lter media carry

strains of bacteria which will feed on the nitrogen compounds found in the pond water when supplied

with air.

Designed as complete fi lter systems for mechanical and biological filtration Inox Bio-Fil organic drum filters are capable of cleaning koi and garden ponds with a capacity

of up to 120,000 litres and 200,000 litres, respectively. They can be installed to act as gravitation filters

(only 12 cm above water level!) or as a pump.

All Inox Bio-Fil organic drum filters ship including a control high-pres-sure pump and all components necessary for operation. The systems can be retrofi tted with a built-in amalgam UV-C lamp including stainless steel head

and ballast, professional ventila-tion kits as well as a professional easy-to-use control including PLC
