Operating in continuous mode, the turbine sucks pond sludge and dirt into the housing, while a separate waste water pump transports the waste water further into the 10 m drain hose. Larger portions such as leaves are separated in a dirt catching back inside the housing, while fi ner particles with a diameter of less than 5 mm are pumped further through the hose and, for instance, into the drain.
